Ponavljanje i proširenje: present perfect za iskustvo i ono što traje do sada (for, since, How long …?), past simple za tačno, završeno vreme (When …?, ago, last, in 2019); ista situacija na dva načina (I started … two years ago = I've … for two years); for uz oba vremena; novost u present perfect, detalji u past simple; this week i today dok još traju.

- Dok period još traje — present perfect: „I've drunk five glasses of water today.“ Kad je prošao — past simple: „I drank a lot of water last week.“
