Ponavljanje: present simple i present continuous — stalno ili privremeno?
Ponavljanje i proširenje: present simple za navike i ono što je stalno, present continuous za ono što se dešava sada i za privremene situacije (this week, this year); prilozi učestalosti i hardly ever; vremenski izrazi za oba vremena; glagoli stanja (know, need, belong …) i think / have sa dva značenja; pitanja u oba vremena.

Pojmovi
- Stalno ili privremeno
- Present simple za ono što je stalno ili se redovno ponavlja: „My uncle works at the post office.“ Present continuous za ono što traje samo neko vreme: „This month he's working at the airport.“ (privremeno).
- Hardly ever i ostali prilozi
- always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever (skoro nikad), never. Stoje ispred glavnog glagola, a posle be: „We hardly ever eat out.“, „Grandma is never late.“ Uz hardly ever i never nema not.
- Vremenski izrazi
- Present simple: every Sunday, twice a month, at weekends, in the evening. Present continuous: now, right now, at the moment, today, this week, this year.
- Glagoli stanja
- know, want, need, like, love, hate, believe, belong i understand obično nisu u continuous: „This bag belongs to me.“ (ne „is belonging“), „I need a break.“
- Think i have — dva značenja
- „I think this game is boring.“ (mislim, mišljenje) — „I'm thinking about the weekend.“ (razmišljam baš sada). „We have two cats.“ (imamo) — „We're having pizza for dinner.“ (jedemo).
- Pitanja
- „How often does the bus come?“ — „Every ten minutes.“, „What are you reading at the moment?“ — „A book about volcanoes.“
