Ponavljanje komparativa i superlativa (-er / -est, more / the most) i proširenje: nepravilni good, bad, far; much, a lot i a bit uz komparativ (i uz more); less i the least; one of the + superlativ; than me.

- Podsetnik: -er i -est, more i the most
- Kratki pridevi: cheap → cheaper → the cheapest, big → bigger → the biggest, funny → funnier → the funniest. Dugi pridevi: expensive → more expensive → the most expensive. „My scooter is cheaper than yours.“, „It's the most expensive watch in the shop.“
- Nepravilni: good, bad, far
- good → better → the best; bad → worse → the worst; far → farther / further → the farthest / the furthest. „Today's weather is worse than yesterday's.“, „The station is farther than the bakery.“
- Much, a lot i a bit uz komparativ
- „Much“ ili „a lot“ (mnogo) i „a bit“ / „a little“ (malo) stoje ispred komparativa: „The new bike is much faster.“ (mnogo brži), „It's a bit colder today.“ (malo hladnije). Uz duge prideve: „much more expensive“, „a bit more difficult“. Ne kaže se „very faster“.
- Less i the least
- „Less“ (manje) i „the least“ (najmanje) idu uz pridev u osnovnom obliku: „This film is less scary than the first one.“, „It's the least popular song on the album.“
- One of the + superlativ
- „One of the“ + superlativ + imenica u množini = jedan od naj…: „Kopaonik is one of the biggest mountains in Serbia.“, „She's one of the best singers in our school.“
- Than me
- Posle than u govoru obično ide me, him, her, us, them: „He's older than me.“, „They're faster than us.“ Može i „than I am“; samo „than I“ zvuči vrlo zvanično.
